About Toni.

My professional journey began in academia as an Assistant Professor of Psychology. For over 10 years, I gained expertise in developing engaging courses and curriculum on learning management systems (for both in-person and online learners), designed assessments, and researched and implemented evidenced-based strategies to support learners. My passion for developing effective learning experiences has led me to transition into instructional design, an area where I am able to focus my talents more closely on the creativity behind educational content for adult learners. In this role, I blend my expertise in psychology, course design, and curriculum development to engage a broader audience.

My journey into video editing is also rooted in an understanding of human emotion, storytelling, and connection. My passion for video editing began 20 years ago when I directed, filmed, and edited dance videos with my sister. Through this process, I learned that I primarily enjoyed post-production with creating an engaging story through music and dance. I have since produced engagement videos, travel video blogs, and other social media content. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling, I create videos that grab attention and resonate with viewers.

When I am not engaged in this work, I enjoy completing puzzles of all kinds (jigsaw, crossword, and Rubik’s cube to name a few!), exploring coffee shops, and attending shows in Houston’s theater district.
